Mosey up the stairs and back
Thing 1: Paired Stations
Split into pairs, stay with your partner during the stations
- Station 1 (timing station):
PAX 1 runs up the stairs, does 3 burpees, then runs down the hill
PAX 2 does a shuttle run (sprints), then 6 burpees
Hold Al Gore until both partners are done, then rotate
- Station 2
Medicine Ball big boy sit-ups
- Station 3
PAX 1 does jump rope
PAX 2 does back extensions or step-ups
- Station 4
Use the machines (rows or pulls)
Rotate until everyone has done each station at least twice
Thing 2: Group exercises — PAX choice
Mosey around the hill and playground, then circle up

Observations from my 13-year old’s first track meet (high jump): there was an athlete there who kept running but not jumping. The benefit of decisiveness and “just doing it.”
Staying out of your head / once you start, follow through and finish.
