The last year has been the toughest of my life, and I know a lot of men here have walked through hard things too.

There were things this year I honestly didn’t know if I could get over. Things I didn’t know if I could survive. But morning after morning, I’d wake up at 5 AM, see my shoes laid out, take three Advil, and remember that there were men out there in the dark and the cold waiting.

Waiting for me to show up. Waiting for me to join. Waiting for me to lead. Waiting for me to be part of this community.

And that changes you.

There’s something powerful about knowing you don’t have to get through the hardest year of your life alone. You just have to get up, put your shoes on, and take the next step toward the men who are already out there waiting for you.

I’ll always be thankful for that.
