COT
Too much to repeat here. Suffice it to say that while 9/11 feels increasingly distant and abstract, it remains personal to me. I lived in NYC at the time and saw the first tower fall from across the East River. My now-wife worked downtown and ran from the cloud of dust and ash with a colleague. Still a hard day, 25 years later—and one on which I try to be grateful for the simple, normal act of coming home from work safe at the end of the day.
