We’re in a moment of high tension, whether it’s the current events taking place and/or in our lives / work. I realized I have not been managing that tension well, either ignoring and pretending it’s not there, or waiting for it to become unmanageable and responding with negative energy, bursts of impatience or losing my temper. Managing tension well requires acknowledging and accepting it and deploying it toward healthy, positive and productive outlets so that it can be released.
