COT –  HIM shared story about how the DoD demands on Scouting America impacted him personally.  Preventing teaching and learning for scouts and preventing scout membership for some in the community.  Another HIM shared story of community members arrested and charged with felonies for peaceful protest.  The result of felony charges is the loss of jobs and income.  A price too high for most in our community to freely exercise first amendment rights. We went to war with Iran yesterday.  we, as Americans, should be able to take to the streets and protest this, but we are prevented by our governments irregular actions.  We all have the chance to vote in a couple of weeks, exercise your rights to effectuate change and prevent our government from forcing nations, companies, and not-for-profits from carrying the water of this administration.
