Then 11sies, but skipping 11/10/9/8/7, starting with 6/5:
- Near side of lot do “Cut a Brick”: 1 Manmaker Merkin + 1 Big Boy with Block = 1 rep; start with 6 reps, 1 less each time down to 1
- Rifle carry to other end of the parking lot
- Far side of lot do Goblet Squats; start with 5 reps, 1 more each time up to 10
- Sholder carry back to Cut a Brick
After the shortened 11sies, we traveled two blocks north and back, stopping 3 times for 5x BOMBS twice and 5 Humane Burpees once.

My wife’s parents are both in failing health and, even though they’re 87 and 82, haven’t really made plans about what to do with their last few years. They’ve been avoiding decisions and consequently making bad ones. Karen and I have taken to saying, “we’ll never do this to our kids” because she and her sister have been left to clean up as best they can. Make more plans than just a will. Consider different Power of Attorney scenarios, and if they’re still with you, encourage your parents and your M’s parents to do the same.
