Yesterday would have been my dad’s 83rd birthday, the first since his death last October. I’ve been surprised by how the experience of grief has not conformed to my expectations- sadness has been less pervasive, but grief when it hits is sharp and sudden.
We all process loss differently, but don’t have to do it alone. An open invite was extended to anyone who is experiencing loss/grief and needs a friend or listening ear to process those feelings.
