Thang
1- Festivus Pole – It is known for it high strength to weight ratio, we work on getting stronger with 4 fundamental exercises. Merkin, squat, dip and lunge. All to 12 and then repeat. All in cadence.
2- Airing of grievances – Hillbilly walk / Imperial walk while grievances are aired. As they are aired out, we collectively do a burpee for each one. 2 times around.
3 – Feats of Strength – Pairs formed to have a tug O war tournament. Teams compete and then a final battle between them. There can be only 1! Shiplap emerged victorious!

COT
We completed our work with a discussion around the good things in our lives. The magic ratio is 5 positive interactions for one negative so we collectively got to well over 50 positive things in our lives to counterbalance the grievances. Some highlights were: family, F3, meaningful work, large oceans and especially the Ms!
I wrapped up our discussion with a final CoT challenging each of us to be whoever the person across from us needs us to be in that moment. We have to like ourselves first and foremost. We spend so much time in our own heads and we do a great job generally taking care of ourselves most days. During this holiday season dig in deep and have the strength, courage and tenacity to be what someone else needs right now.
